Tango-To-Go. Grade 3 (EQ 7). Performance: 3’16’’

Tango-to-go is inspired in traditional tango, with the main theme in the typical 32 beats with the accompaniment alternating between the three most typical rhythmic patterns: marcato, síncopa and 3-3-2. As traditional tango ensembles do not include percussion instruments, the piece incorporates some of the special techniques commonly used to add percussion to accompaniment lines. Similarly, the grace notes should be played fast and all accents well marked.
